In association with the local ‘Education Action Zone’ of an enthusiastic LEA, Pow Wow Sportz will develop a working partnership which is aimed at extending the educational opportunity of local Y6 primary children.
"To extend cross-curricular links with the immediate primary schools which
surround the Professional Sport Club and develop a meaningful alternative to
class room education.This alternative will centre around the professional business of the club and
will allow identified pupils an opportunity to increase their learning through
innovative and dynamic workshops".
These workshops will include specific work
with the Players and the clubs business including identified fixtures to look at
a particular educational focus.
NB These will always be clearly focused
on the National Curriculum.
