Roles & Responsibilities:
JOB OBJECTIVE
Formulate and implement a strategy for the development of Hull
Kingston Rovers Rugby League football club, which will see the club gain access
to Super League.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the every day running of the club and operate direct line management for all staff.
- Locate and manage the development of new income streams at the club.
- Operate in liaison with other vibrant companies and businesses.
- Direct, guide and support the club through specific work programmes and regular review meetings.
- Establish new, and develop old, partnerships within the community ensuring that the clubs embraces
local businesses and large companies.
- Be responsible for all marketing, commercial and media initiatives.
- Explore all funding opportunities including Sports Match, Awards for all,
European Social Fund, Camber of Commerce funding and all new initiatives.
- Liaise with Government departments, local authorities, Sports Councils and their subsidiary agencies,
armed services, British police, prison service, etc with regard for Rugby League development
and further development funding.
- Supervise the construction and operation of all recruitment strategies and the signing of all players.
To liaise with all playing members of the club on behalf of the Board of Directors.
- Liaise with all Rugby League-playing clubs, especially those in East Hull.
- Formulate a strategy which will support an ‘East Hull Service Area’
and facilitate new, Specialist Sports College structures.
- Drive local school development through innovative initiatives which focus on integration.
- Re-discover local scouting networks which focus on East Hull players.
- Formulate, implement and monitor appropriate budgets and spends.
